Typograpy Class with Type Design Club
The Challenge
Creating a regular typeface that captures both modernity and classical music influences was a complex journey. The challenge was to develop a design that could express emotional depth, clarity, and expression while fitting the unique atmosphere of a music show held in a cave. This required balancing artistic exploration with precise refinement over several months.
The Solution
Over a four-month period with the Type Design Club, the typeface Eclat evolved through weeks of sketching, print test and careful adjustments. The design process focused on combining modern styles with inspiration from classical music to create a typeface that feels rich in emotion and easy to read. The final form of the typeface was created to capture the energy of live music shows in unique spaces, visually expressing the excitement and mood in a fresh, engaging way.
