The Challenge
Chromatic Coffee Co. is a coffee shop located in San Francisco, offering a wide variety of coffee beans sourced from around the world. The goal was to create packaging that not only protects and showcases a variety of coffee beans but also introduces customers to the art of brewing using the V60 method. The challenge involved designing a package that reflects the brand’s identity while guiding users through a new and unfamiliar brewing experience. Additionally, the packaging needed to combine a vintage aesthetic with modern minimalism, stand out on shelves, and organize multiple components clearly and intuitively.

The Solution
The packaging design blends classic and contemporary styles, creating a fresh yet timeless look that captures the brand’s personality. Inside the box, four different coffee beans are carefully arranged in tubes alongside 10 coffee filters and a V60 brewing tool, all organized in the ideal order to guide users step-by-step through the brewing process. This clear and playful design approach educates customers and makes the brewing experience approachable and enjoyable, positioning the V60 brew style as a cornerstone of the brand’s identity.
